Meet Jen Bailey
Founder
Thanks for stopping by to get to know Benefitting.co.
My name is Jen Bailey and over the past ten years I’ve been part of founding sales and business development teams in emerging benefits tech solutions like Tuition.io, Maven Clinic and BetterUp (Care Solution). The early days in these companies, with greenfield sales markets ahead of us and a huge task of educating the market about product and need, were some of my most rewarding for me. I’m a born creative, with a degree in architectural design, whose career happened to take a sharp turn to sales in the ‘08 recession. I found out quickly in my first “official” sales role that my greatest success came from two things: cultivating strong relationships and not being afraid to try all the things.
I’ve been a top performer and sold across all market segments, industries, and territories and have won business with companies like AT&T, Hulu, Riot Games, Electronic Arts. I’ve been the de facto marketing, PR, comms, sales ops and recruiting team - and I learned so much about each role, with each hat I tried on.
Outside of Benefitting.co, I’m a mom to two boys and I genuinely love to help others. I’ve volunteered with American Cancer Society as the Event Chair for Making Strides Santa Monica for many years before motherhood, and I now contribute time to my their schools - it’s weird, but I love making Silent Auction asks haha!
So - is a partnership with Benefitting.co right for you?
It is my goal to help the clients we work with anticipate the enterprise landscape ahead and shorten their learning curve. While enterprise sales skills are transferable - yes, we can consult with pretty much any enterprise solution on how to set up your sales process and CRM - we do shine the brightest if you are an employee benefits solution.
Our team can be consultative in nature or hands-on, it's based on where you are in your roadmap and company growth. We intending to bridge the gap between getting off the ground and out to market to scaling your sales org. You can trust we’ve done the work. If there ever was a set of training wheels for building benefits, I guess that’s Benefitting.co!
